Purchasing the data plan was easy. Topping up also appears to be easy. Although we didn't quite connect automatically like we thought when we got into Japan airspace, we figured it out pretty quick. We've been VERY happy with the coverage and speed
I downloaded the Ubigi app, and I’ve never been so disappointed with an app before. I wasn’t able to install the eSIM and was told to contact customer service. I did that, but it’s been three days now and I still haven’t received any response.
Network connectivity was consistent. Setup instructions were slightly different than current iOS, so took a bit of time to setup. I did notice ubigi service didn’t activate upon arriving in Japan like Ubigi said it would, so I had to activate
