I’ve been using Mobimatter on all my trips to Europe for the past three years and haven’t had any problems in any country so far. It’s also much more affordable than other e-SIMs and offers a wide range of options to choose from.
I was slightly skeptic at first given some reviews online but I’ve had a fantastic experience travelling to Turkey! I set everything up before I flew and when I landed my internet connection worked seamlessly, and yes, it’s been 5G. No slow speeds...
They charge you in a different currency even though you’ve selected the one you wanted to pay with. I ended up paying around 20% more because of the exchange rate. You could argue that the bank is responsible, but the extra cost only occurred...
It was a cheap option for an esim. Had trouble getting it to work initially, took about an hour and had to manually switch networks. I think partially was due to accidentally initially turning it on in airplane mode (I hadn't noticed it was on), but...
